The app was created under project with the ID number FMP-E/1901/4.1/118 and the name of "Innovative dissemination of knowledge - Values of the border region" Small Projects Fund Interreg V-A Slovakia - Hungary Cooperation Programme by the international collaboration of the Mary’s Route Public Benefit Association and the MEDVESALJA O.Z.

During the development of the previously introduced game PilgrInno SK the main goal was to publicize the cultural and built heritage in the area. Due to the created game these values, tradition and gastronomy of the area can be shown such way to increase the interest in players.

While playing the game, the need for further information can be raised in players. That is why the partners collecting these claims and increasing the database to support the planning of a new journey and find hiking or pilgrim destinations, with the aim to generate the number of visitors in the area. 

The application, publicizing and introducing the cultural values of the territory, contributed in the development of exhibitions and the network of stakeholders. Expanding the international and territorial cooperation was an important task for the partners in the maintenance period, and was achieved by the involvement of the stakeholders in the area and the users of the application.

The organizations, including educational establishments, governments, museums, other cultural institutions and civil groups, guardians of built heritage and traditionalists as well, with minimum effort but with their constant cooperation guarantee the duration of the project. This maintenance and developing can generate the collaboration between local social figures since they are who are serving fresh content for the app.
