About the upcoming game

cikk, szerző: sodi

In their joint project MEDVESALJA o.z. and the Mary's Route Public Benefit Association have decided on a very important issue concerning the game they are developing.

The name of the game to be developed!

The name of the game was "PilgrInno SK", referring not only to the basic activity of pilgrimage, which is also present in the Medvesalja area and is often organised by the lead partner, but also to the name of the project and its innovativeness.

In the Small Project Fund project FMP-E/1901/4.1/118 "Innovative dissemination of knowledge - Values of the border region" within the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme, as previously reported, the cooperating partners are working on the development of an innovative game.

In practice, the game can be a great complementary programme, either for class trips or as a useful way of spending a break on a major excursion, but perhaps one of the most important aims of the development is to give children a tool to make them aware of the importance of knowing the traditions around them and of preserving the built and cultural heritage of the area, if we want to show them, and their children, that we are very much ahead of the game. It is therefore very important that the cultural and architectural values of the region are presented through this game.

This application, which presents the cultural values, built heritage and traditions of the area, contributes to the networking that the promoters wish to create. In this way, cross-border cooperation between partners will broaden the range of partners involved in regional cooperation, i.e. the cultural and built heritage sites' managers. The organisations, which may be educational institutions, municipalities, museums, other cultural showplaces, or of course NGOs, will also ensure the survival of the cooperating network, with a minimum contribution from the cultural and built heritage sites, heritage holders and maintainers, and with a continuous renewal of the project.

The next presentation article of the project will report on the testing of the development.
